I am not going to lie, this new journey for me has not been easy. Easy is sitting on the couch saying I will start tomorrow, or okay I exercised today lets celebrate with junk food!

Today! January 8, 2017 |
I have stayed true to myself, I remind myself of my reason to start all this, I was tired of feeling sick and tired. I decided that I needed to stop making excuses. Everytime I get on the treadmill I think I will only do as much as I can, as soon as I am tired I will stop. But something strange happens - with every step I take, as I listen to the trainer in my ear and they are telling me to get ready to step it up or go another 60 seconds or its time to increase the incline, a little voice in my head quickly pops in and says you don't have to you know, and then I think momentarily thats right maybe I won't increase the incline I don't have too... but when that tone plays I all of sudden find myself doing it, I push the voices out of my head and push myself - hurray!!!
Another time that self doubt creeps in is when I step on the scale and the number hasn't moved it is the same as the last time it stays the same for much longer than I like, it doesn't move down as fast as I want it to, my brain says - hey you are doing all this for nothing... look at that number it is still the same... and I am forced to define my success.

Day 1, October 26, 2017 |
When you define your success, give yourself goals and when you reach them, celebrate them! So today I am celebrating and I am sharing this celebration with you! You see today I took a new picture, if you have been reading my blog you know that I didn't like what I saw in the mirror... well today I like what see, enough that I am going to share with you... you see according to the scale I haven't made any great success, but my clothes fit differently and then today I liked what I saw when I took my picture. I am finally seeing a difference, but that was not the case for a long time, the only thing that kept me going was that to put it simply - I feel better!
But today I feel better and look better -- cheers!
